I was driving home today and noticed the price of gasoline under one dollar a litre in Tsawwassen. I have heard it on the radio once and a while gas stations in a Vancouver BC selling regular gas for under $1 but never have seen that price so close to home.
I am hoping this is a regular thing. With the price of oil below $50 a barrel it would be nice if gas prices drop even further. It sure saves a lot of money. You think about several months ago it was a $1.50 a litre in now under a dollar. That’s like a 33% savings.
If you spend $400 a month on gas that is roughly $133 savings. Let’s hope it even gets lower but would be happy if it says close to where it is now.
